Parent Teacher Association of Azad Mahavidyalaya, Ausa

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a formal organization in Azad Mahavidyalaya, Ausa which consists of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a College. The goal of all Parent-Teacher Groups is to support their college, encourage parent involvement, support teachers, and organize events.It is formed to maintain continued association between the parents and teachers and to promote activities for the well-being of the students. The Association meets at intervals to discuss various problems relating to the general welfare of the students.

The general body of the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is met twice in every year; one at the beginning of the academic year and the other at the end. Further, Class PTA meetings are held once in a semester following their first internal examinations. Parent- Teacher –Student Meetings are also convened in connection with these meetings. The Principal, the faculty in leadership avail these opportunities as good points of interaction with parents.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) supports the College for the infrastructural development. The college has a mechanism to support the students who are participating arts and sports activities outside the college which is run mainly with the support from the Parent Teacher Association and the Staff club.

Objectives:

1.To foster and promote cordial relationship among the parents, teachers and students of the college/department.

 2. To help guide and participate in various developmental activities of the college.

 3. To render 'all possible assistance for smooth working of the college and for maintaining good discipline in the campus.

 4. To institute scholarships/awards for deserving students of the college.

 5.  To provide and ensure essential facilities to the students of the college.
